Thanksgiving Gratitude

In yoga class we used to say this to close a session: "Thank you to all teachers, past and present, who kept this practice alive." I've always loved feeling connected to that massive lineage. Even when I'm alone on my mat, I still end with this phrase, and I often finish reflexology sessions for my clients with the same silent prayer. Today I'm thinking of all the teachers who kept reflexology alive: the first teachers, the teachers who kept going when very few people knew about this obscure technique, the teachers who heard reflexology was bunk but kept with it, the current teachers who use science to prove reflexology's validity, and the teachers that I've met who lit a fire in my heart to keep the practice alive (esp at Seattle Reflexology & Massage Center). Thank you!
