Help an ill friend

I hear this sentiment from friends and clients who are chronically ill; that the thing they most want is friends who are “still normal”. A scary diagnosis shouldn’t change the core things you like about your friends. So call an ill friend and tell them about your day, meet them for tea, tell some funny stories.
